A straightforward resource, nothing to sell.
TVMountView began because advice on mounting a TV tends to arrive buried in product pages. We wanted a calm, neutral place to simply understand the task.
Clear guidance, written for first-timers.
We publish jargon-light explanations of how TV wall mounting works — the mount types, the wall materials, the measurements, and the safety rules. Each guide is written for someone approaching the job for the very first time.
We do not sell mounts, tools, or televisions, and we do not offer an installation service. There is no shop, booking form, or checkout here. When you are ready to buy or hire, we point you to reputable retailers and qualified local professionals instead.
Three principles behind every page.
Safety before everything
If a step carries real risk, we say so plainly — and we tell you when a job is better left to a professional.
Independent, not for sale
No products, no sponsored picks, no affiliate pressure. Our only goal is that you understand the task.
Plain over clever
We name things the way you would, not the way a spec sheet does. Clarity beats cleverness every time.
Independent and informational. Nothing on this site is a substitute for the instructions supplied with your specific TV and mount, or for professional advice where your situation calls for it. Treat everything here as general education — only you can see your own room.
